Sandra M. Pérez

Director, Individual Giving
Sandra M. Pérez joined the Ms. Foundation in 2008 and as Director of Individual Giving oversees its Annual Fund efforts, special events and planned giving.  

Sandra brings more than 22 years of experience in nonprofit management and resource development and has successfully designed and implemented a broad range of fundraising activities encompassing individual, corporate and cause-related marketing. Prior to the Ms. Foundation, Sandra served as a consultant for clients in the nonprofit and private sectors, and for over ten years, as Executive Director of the Association of Hispanic Arts, a national Latino arts service organization based in New York.
   

Demetra Tennison is the peer advocacy coordinator for the Women Rising Project -- an organization devoted to addressing the needs of women and children affected by HIV/AIDS. Hear about her rise to advocacy and her continued fight against stigma and fear. Learn more and view the slide show
