Community Voices on the Economy
-- a joint project of the Ms. Foundation for Women and the Center for Community Change (CCC) -- aims to to help social change organizations understand how low-income communities are faring in the current economic crisis and how these communities view potential solutions. The project includes a particular focus on communities of color, and especially women in those communities.

Community Voices on the Economy provides grassroots organizations with an opportunity to engage and expand their base and to help develop advocacy strategies that have been tested through a major national poll conducted by Lake Research Partners. The poll findings can be used to influence target audiences and affect policy debates at the local, state and federal level. Ultimately, Community Voices on the Economy will help groups identify economic solutions likely to garner the most support from their base and build the case for these solutions among decision-makers.
